A Secret Well-Kept

Boy : I'm going away this September..

Girl : You won't be here during the Pujas?

Boy : I'll be building machines! Wooh!!

Girl : They wouldn't work!

Boy : Duhh! They'd sell like hot cakes!

Girl : Huh! What's up with your girlfriend?

Pause.

Boy : We broke up. Today morning.

Girl (ELATED!!) : Oh..What happened?

Boy (grim) : I knew for some time. Didn't tell her anything. She was seeing someone else.

Girl : Same old..same old...I know what its like..

Boy : Hmm...here is your Crusher..

Girl : Yummm!! (Sips, but nothing comes up the straw)

Boy smiles. He takes her glass, pulls the straw up from its floor, where apparently it had been stuck, and holds it to her lips.

Boy : Now sip.

Girl sips. Cool chocolate hits her tongue and sends a blush up her cheeks. He is real close to her..

Boy : Who is the Physics genius here?

Girl(looking at her toes and Smiles) : You.

Boy secretly clicks her snaps.

Girl : What are YOU doing??

She grabs the phone. Doesn't like her pic. " Options -------> DELETE"

Boy : AAAAAAAAAAAARGHHH!!! NOOOOOO!! GIVE ME MY PHONE!!

Girl : Hehehehahaha! Anyway, best date! Thanks!

Boy ( insides exploding...'she called it a date!!') : I'll see you again. A kiss on ur lips, animal!

Girl( awestruck) : Whaaat?? Go to sleep! Good night!

Boy : I got something to say. I like you...

Girl : Sorry?

Boy : Nothing. Nothing. I was joking..

Girl : Hmm.

Boy : People are hell bad here! I can't stay here..everyone behaves so strangely..!! I wanna go home!

Girl : I am there with you. Am I not?

Boy : Yes. In my heart..

Girl : ( Quietness. Just smiles with a distant look)

Boy : Had you not changed your school in Class XI, I would've known you longer. It would always have 
been you..

Girl : We'd save how many heartbreaks?

Boy : Mine. Yours. Two others.

Girl : His heart would never break. He never loved me. He just wanted ***.

Boy : ssshh...now don't say that, baby..

Silence. Silence. More Silence.

Boy: I love you..

Girl : I love you too...

Boy : And my mom loves you too!

Girl ( putting up an air) : So obvious she would..I am a good girl! 0:)

Boy : Come here.

Girl goes closer. The next instant, she is wrapped in a pair of cozy arms. She feels the warmth of a chest against her flushed face, a head rested tenderly on her shoulder.

Boy: Now that's a hug for you.. You are my Life..

Girl just grows redder, looks at him once and hugs tighter, slowly loosening the tenion in her muscles. There was nothing to hold back from him. She is his. She sinks into him slowly, pressing softly. He kisses her cheek.

Girl: You wont ever leave me? 

Boy: As I said, you are my life...

As they stood that way, none of them knew when and how it had happened - how they had fallen in love. Even today, they try to figure out the algorithm. There is always one missing command or the other. 

All things true are cosmic. All things cosmic are wrapped in mystery. Why not just assume that Cupid had played his part well? So His work has remained a secret but the flower has formed a beautiful fruit that will only grow lovelier and wilder with time.
